When Honda discontinued the Si model after the 2000 model year, many people wondered what would happen to the beloved Si. Fortunately, Si enthusiasts didn't have to wait too long. Honda introduced the Civic Si in 2002.
The 2002 Si was only available as a unique hatchback design. It had the base model Acura RSX engine in it, making 160 hp. It also had a unique shifter design that attached to the dash rather than the floor or center console. Of course, the Si had the typical Si badging and the DOHC iVTEC decal. You don't really see too many of these on the road, making them a rare commodity.
